$80,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Position Overview

Bickel Group Architecture is seeking a Job Captain with relevant project experience. You will collaborate with a team to manage projects from early concept through construction administration, ensuring delivery of well-designed projects with care, consideration, and expertise. The role requires creative, organizational, communicative, and problem-solving skills to be a key team member.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Maintain strong relationships with project team members
  • Participate in design processes, including due diligence, feasibility studies, and schematic design
  • Balance design intent with code, programmatic, and budget requirements
  • Resolve technical and design issues collaboratively
  • Interface with local jurisdictions and regulatory bodies
  • Prepare high-quality, accurate project delivery documents
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
  • Working toward licensure preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Effective written, graphic, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and adaptability
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp
  • Experience coordinating with consultants
  • Knowledge of building codes and local permitting processes
