Job Captain responsible for coordinating and leading the architectural drafting team on a project, developing documents. Assists the Project Manager with project administration from schematic design through construction documents.

Required:

• Associate degree in drafting and design.
• Minimum of three years in design development and contract documents. Proven design abilities.
• Proven skills in leadership, communication, and problem solving.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to handle a broad range of functions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses AutoCAD and Revit to produce construction documents based on designs of others.
• Proofreads own work and the work of others.
• Generates architectural plans and artwork.
• Communicates with clients regarding construction questions.
• Delegates work to team members.
• Researches and evaluates data for products.
• Works from existing designs and makes necessary adjustments.
• Assists Project Manager in managing selected projects.
• Produces artwork.
• Coordinates with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.

Pay Range: $75k/yr. - $100k/yr. DOE
