The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Seasonal In-Room Dining Captain to join the team.

Located in Dana Point, near Laguna Beach, known for its surf culture and vibrant lifestyle, the resort sits on 175 acres atop a seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, extensive meeting space, and multiple dining outlets including 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

Shift: Various – availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays required.

Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour, based on experience and location.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise service delivery, ensuring order rotation and guest satisfaction.
  • Set up trays and tables for incoming orders.
  • Retrieve checks, set tables, deliver food and beverages to guest rooms and meeting rooms.
  • Serve meals, collect trays, and respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Present checks and process payments.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform order-taking duties and answer room service calls as needed.
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following regulations.
