Job summary

HII Mission Technologies, based in Hawaii, seeks an Engineer Systems 3 - JLVC Capability Manager to support Navy/JLVC training at NSWC Corona. You will ensure interoperability of JLVC federates, provide SME guidance, training, and federation support for Marine Corps/LVC training needs.

The role requires a US Secret clearance, 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's (or 3 years with a Master's), proficiency with Linux/Windows, MS Office, and CompTIA Security+.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or J.D. in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Must be familiar with Linux (command line) and Windows operating systems
• Must have technical leadership ability during LVC training event execution
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable communicating at various levels of the organization
• Must have familiar with MS Office
• A current CompTIA Security+ certification is required for the position
• Must currently hold and be able to maintain a US Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on JLVC federate simulations and tools to meet training objectives.
• Provide training to staff and end users on JLVC federate simulations, procedures, and roles.
• Conduct continuing education to stay updated on JLVC capabilities and roadmaps.
• Initialize and employJLVC federate simulations to meet training objectives.
• Manage local simulation artifacts and align with TECOM versions and local training requirements.
• Refine enterprise documentation on JLVC capabilities and best practices.
• Support the Federation Manager in federating JLVC simulations to meet training objectives.
