Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking an LJIT Application Deployment & Support Specialist to implement and support the LJIT/LearPICS suite across North American plants. The role focuses on deployment, configuration, and ongoing enhancements of manufacturing scheduling software.

You will partner with plant and corporate teams, manage project plans, and train site personnel. This position requires travel up to half the year and a proactive problem-solving mindset for complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or EE.
• Self-starter attitude with ability to work in a team.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of OpenShift architecture and deployment.
• Familiarity with Windows server environments and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support LJIT & LearPICS shop floor systems.
• Coordinate with plant and corporate teams to configure systems.
• Develop and manage project plans for implementations.
• Support pre-production testing and debug order scheduling integrations.
• Identify enhancements and submit change requests to development.
• Train plant IT and engineering teams on LJIT/LearPICS usage.
• Provide troubleshooting support across North America as a system expert.
• Build cross-functional relationships and communicate with leadership.
• Travel up to 50% to support plant launches.
