Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Jira Administrator to design, implement, and support Jira and Confluence in a hybrid role from our Fairfax, VA office. The ideal candidate will configure workflows, automate processes, and integrate tools to support agile project management for a DISA IL5 AWS environment with multiple MPEs.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on Jira/Confluence admin experience, strong stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience administering Jira and Confluence in enterprise environments.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance (active preferred).
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ (or higher).
• Ability to work up to 3 days a week in a hybrid capacity out of Fairfax, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing administration of Jira and Confluence.
• Drive multiple customer solution design and implementation efforts simultaneously.
• Gather requirements, understand use cases, and develop Atlassian solutions that support program needs.
• Provide user training, support, and documentation for best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation rules, scripts, integrations, dashboards, reports, and analytics.
• Manage user access, roles, groups, permissions, and security configurations.
• Configure Jira and Confluence to optimize system performance and integrate with other tools.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Jira Marketplace apps and plugins (ScriptRunner, Structure, etc.).
• Oversee creation of Jira boards, Confluence reports, visuals, metrics, and dashboards for leadership and operations.
