Job summary

Jimmy John’s in Richardson, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver to support fast, friendly service in a defined local area. You’ll deliver sandwiches, work in-store between trips, and learn routes for timely, accurate order fulfillment.

You’ll maintain a positive customer experience, handle payments, and reconcile cash, tips, and mileage with the manager at shift end; a valid license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Valid driver's license and own reliable, insured vehicle
• Clean driving record with no DUIs and <=2 moving violations in past 3 years
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers in English
• Must pass an MVR check

Responsibilities

• Deliver Jimmy John's sandwiches in a defined local delivery area—short routes, familiar territory
• Between deliveries, work in-store and get paid for that time
• Learn routes and get orders out fast and safely
• Double-check every order before it leaves
• Take phone orders and handle payments accurately

Base pay $11.00–$13.00/hour, plus tips and mileage reimbursement. Our drivers averaged$15.99/hourincluding tips over the past six months.

Flexible scheduling. Start within 5 days of applying. No CDL required — just your own car and a good driving record.

Your $600 sign-on bonus

Paid $100/month for six months while you're actively working and in good standing. No hoops.

What you’ll actually do

• You'll deliver Jimmy John's sandwiches in a defined local delivery area — short routes, familiar territory, no long hauls.
• Between deliveries, you'll work in-shop and get paid for that time too.
• Learn your routes and get orders out fast and safely
• Double-check every order before it leaves
• Take phone orders and handle payments accurately
• Reconcile your cash, tips, and mileage with your manager at shift end
• Pitch in on in-shop tasks between runs

Pay and benefits

• $11.00–$13.00/hour base
• Tips — yours, every shift
• Driver Maintenance Reimbursement: $0.41-$0.50 per mile to offset wear on your vehicle
• $600 sign-on bonus
• Free meals on shift
• Full-time (30+ hrs/week): medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with employer match

Part-time roles under 30 hours/week are not benefits-eligible.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with customers in English (phone orders, delivery tickets)
