Job summary

Jimmy John's in Normal, IL seeks a Delivery Driver to locally deliver sandwiches with short routes and a good driving record. You’ll take phone orders, handle payments, and reconcile tips and mileage with management at shift end. There are in-shop duties between runs and you’ll double-check every order before leaving.

The role offers base pay $15.00-$16.00/hour plus tips, a $600 sign-on bonus, and mileage reimbursement. Full-time benefits apply if 30+ hrs/week, with free meals on shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• No DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers in English.
• Must pass an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Jimmy John's sandwiches in a defined local area, short routes.
• Take phone orders and handle payments accurately.
• Reconcile cash, tips, and mileage with the manager at shift end.
• Work in-shop between deliveries and get paid for that time.
• Double-check orders before they leave.
