JAX Jackson General Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Clerk to manage outpatient visit and procedure scheduling, registration, and related communications. You will coordinate referrals, handle confirmations, and ensure accurate patient information while maintaining a courteous patient experience.
The role requires a high school diploma, medical terminology training, and at least two years in a medical office setting. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential.
Responsible for scheduling, cancelling, rescheduling and registering of outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics, by collecting all necessary information for schedule and registration preparation.
