JEWELRY/STORE MANAGER (Finance)

Position Summary:

Serve as the primary supervisor for the entire location. Maximize the financial performance of the store; achieve growth and sales targets by managing, training, and motivating the sales team. Create an emotional connection between Fred Meyer Jewelers and customers through engagement and communication during every shopping occasion in store and online. Ensure all associates perform tasks safely, following corporate policies and legal requirements. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer Jewelers policies and procedures
• 2 years management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, First Place, Act, intranet/internet systems
• Experience leading or participating in project teams

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, plus at least 6 months as a Fred Meyer Jewelers assistant manager
• 2 years retail jewelry experience or relevant education and experience
• Minimum 18 years old
• Ability to pass drug test
• Maintain confidentiality
• Attention to detail
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Familiarity with industry terms and processes
• Willingness to continue education as needed
• Valid driver's license
• Completion of Diamond Council of America courses within one year of hire

Essential Job Functions:
