Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer experiences and maintaining store standards.

You will train and develop team members, participate in recruiting, enforce company policies, and help execute the promotion from within philosophy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; and recruiting and selection of team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures and perform other operational and strategic duties.
