Job summary

Helzberg Diamonds is seeking an Assistant Manager to help drive sales and daily retail operations at our Auburn Hills location. You will participate in training programs aimed at preparing for a Store Manager position, while guiding a team to meet store goals.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of jewelry retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise staff. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Required experience: 1 to 3 years.
• Education: High School.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or equivalent.
• Proven history of selling in a commission environment.
• Ability to supervise others to achieve results.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
• Work as a team in a sales presentation to overcome customer objections and close sales.
• Develop selling skills in team members to achieve store goals.
• Provide first response to difficult associate and/or customer interactions in Store Manager's absence.
• Provide outstanding customer service to each Helzberg Diamonds guest.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting top-performing associates.
