Job summary

The Jewelers Mutual Claims Internship program in Neenah, WI offers hands-on experience in Personal Lines claim tasks within a customer-facing team responsible for adjudicating $100M in jewelry insurance claims annually.

You will assist licensed claim examiners, analyze policy language, review documentation, and learn jewelry basics while developing professional skills in a collaborative culture. This internship provides growth opportunities and exposure to real-world insurance processes.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management & Insurance or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed claim examiners with key claim handling tasks.
• Provide input on claim processes and controls.
• Analyze and interpret insurance policy language.
• Review claim documentation provided by jewelers, field adjusters, attorneys, etc.
• Investigate and provide input on potential fraudulent claims.
• Learn jewelry, diamond, and watch basics.
• Expedite claim payments with accuracy.
• Review and interpret claim reports, including trend analysis.
• May support SIU/fraud & quality initiatives throughout the claims department.
