Job summary

Haverford Township is seeking a skilled Jet Truck Operator to join the Sewer Department. You will operate jet trucks and CCTV inspection equipment to inspect, clean, and repair the Township's sanitary and storm sewer systems, and participate in emergency response and on-call rotations.

The role requires manual labor, safety awareness, and the ability to operate CDL-required vehicles, with opportunities for overtime and professional development within a stable public service environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years experience operating CCTV sewer inspection equipment or related Public Works equipment.
• Valid CDL Class A License and ability to maintain licenses throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewer jet trucks, CCTV inspection equipment, and related machinery to inspect, clean, maintain, and repair sewer systems.
• Conduct sewer line inspections and identify maintenance, repair, and operational issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of sewer infrastructure.
• Respond to sewer emergencies and participate in on-call rotations and after-hours work.
