Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Chicago O'Hare (ORD) seeks a Fuel Quality Technician to test, store and dispense jet fuel, ensuring quality and reliability per procedures. You will record data, manage inventories and operate safely within regulatory guidelines at ORD.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Wage is $21.50 per hour with paid training, vacation and insurance benefits, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED, or one-year related experience and/or training.
• Must pass color vision and drug tests to be considered for employment.
• Ability to work a flexible shift including nights and weekends.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, transfer and dispense petroleum products in accordance with established procedures.
• Selects and tests fuel products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and/or chemical characteristics.
• Records test data, following statistical quality control procedures.
• Procure daily, weekly and monthly petroleum product inventories as required and prepare documentation.
• Complies with A4A specifications on fuel quality.
• Pumps fuel pits and provides auto gas functions as necessary.
