Job summary

Menzies Aviation is hiring for a role focused on safely moving jet fuel across pipelines, storage tanks and trucks at CLT facilities. You will follow orders, operate pumps and valves, perform quality checks, and document results while maintaining high safety standards.

The position requires physical capability, a valid US driver’s license, ability to pass pre-employment tests, and flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Training on hazardous materials and safety policies is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must possess and maintain valid US driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision, audio, and drug test.
• Must not be afraid of heights and capable of working with above ground storage tanks.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must comply with FAA/US Customs safety and pass a background check.
• Experience with petroleum pumps, valves and pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely move jet fuel across pipelines, storage tanks, and trucks under supervision.
• Interpret orders to move exact amounts of jet fuel using pumps, piping, and instruments.
• Conduct testing to ensure jet fuel quality specifications are met.
• Respond to abnormalities or alarms in hydrant systems and record results.
• Perform inspections, document findings, and maintain safety procedures.
• Operate in both office and outdoor environments and comply with PPE rules.
• Assist with entering data on ruggedized tablets and support safety compliance.
