Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM is seeking a Fuel Farm Operator to manage sampling and testing of fuels, and to perform routine maintenance on fueling facilities and equipment. The role emphasizes adherence to safety practices, inspections, and accurate logging of transactions.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma/GED, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to work variable shifts outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and physical.

Responsibilities

• Receives and dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs basic maintenance on facilities and fuel systems.
• Supports technicians with reports and preventive maintenance for equipment at fuel storage facilities.
• Performs routine inspections to comply with company and government standards.
• Maintains logs of fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
