Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM is hiring a Fuel Farm Operator to sample and test products for quality control and perform inspections and basic maintenance on facilities and fueling systems. The role includes receiving and dispatching jet fuel, avgas and glycol, often during the night shift.

You will work outdoors, handling pipelines and fueling equipment, and must meet safety standards while maintaining logs and supporting QC technicians. Good physical stamina and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience).
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain airport badges/seals.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and a physical.

Responsibilities

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems.
• Performs routine inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards.
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to prevent spills and contamination.
• Keeps log entries of fuel transactions, quality control and maintenance; adheres to safety policies and procedures.
