Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Tampa, FL seeks a Fuel Farm Operator responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, and performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.

You will receive and dispatch jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role supports maintenance and documentation activities and requires lifting up to 70 pounds and outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems including related equipment on fueling vehicles.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent spills, releases, overfills and contamination
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures; logs fuel transactions and maintenance; adheres to attendance standards.
