ATI is seeking a forging technician in Irvine, CA to support press operators in the forging process of high-performance jet engine materials used in aerospace.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team, follow written work instructions, and maintain safety and quality records; we train motivated, entry-level candidates with opportunities for growth within the Forged Products division.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions; adherence to safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare metal stock for forging and position hot stock on dies; extract hot forgings from dies.
• Complete quality assurance and part tracking documentation.
• Prepare thermocouple wiring.
• Operate a forklift following safe practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
