Job summary

RTX is seeking a Bondroom Technician at Edwards AFB to manage document accountability for jet engine parts and support equipment, ensuring compliance with audits and inventory requirements.

The role involves maintaining calibration of tooling, handling hazardous materials, and maintaining logs and paperwork while progressing through shifts and potential 2nd shift with pay differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ months of work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility to occasionally work alternate shifts, work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays when required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance required; must obtain clearances within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain required paperwork per procedures (work orders, logs, sign-offs).
• Participate in ACE/CI programs and training to achieve company goals.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Obtain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required; prepare tools/equipment for shipping.
• Handle and process hazardous material and related wastes safely per instructions.
• Support duties to meet business objectives and maintain documentation.
