Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Engineer for the PSC&V team to support experimental military and commercial jet engine assembly and tests. The role requires the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with engine test programs.

The position is onsite with potential travel as needed and offers opportunities within a multidisciplinary team. As part of the Assembly Operations, you will help ensure readiness of test vehicles, manage teardown

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• 2 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support experimental jet engine assembly and test activities.
• Provide technical direction and troubleshooting in build/tear-down
• Coordinate with cross-functional team to meet validation requirements on time and within budget.
• Willingness to support 24/7 operations and occasional travel.
