Job summary

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Payroll specialist is sought in Florence, AL for an on-site, full-time role. You will develop and enhance JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Payroll solutions, translating business requirements into robust ERP-based software and integrating applications, reports, and batch processes.

You will partner with Payroll, IT, Business Analysts, and external consultants to troubleshoot production issues, analyze data with IBM DB2 and SQL, and drive improvements across the ERP environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing solutions within large-scale ERP environments.
• Experience with JDE Payroll/HCM.
• ERP programming and development experience.
• IBM DB2 and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.

If you know JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development and Payroll , this is a hands-on opportunity to own meaningful work inside a large-scale ERP environment.

We're looking for an experienced JDE Payroll Developer who can turn business requirements into working solutions — developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and supporting EnterpriseOne while working directly with Payroll, Business Analysts, IT, and external partners.

What You'll Do

Develop and enhance JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Payroll solutions

Translate functional specifications into programmed solutions

Develop applications, reports, batch processes, interfaces, and integrations

Support and troubleshoot JDE Payroll and ERP production issues

Use IBM DB2 and SQL for data analysis, validation, reporting, and troubleshooting

Develop enterprise reports and business-aligned enhancements

Partner directly with Payroll, Business Analysts, IT, and internal users

Diagnose complex ERP issues and recommend solutions

Support large-scale projects involving internal teams and external consultants

Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and modernize the ERP environment

Create documentation and provide user support/training

This isn't maintenance-only JDE work. You'll build solutions, solve production problems, work directly with the business, and help improve a critical EnterpriseOne environment.

Schedule: Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Requirements

5+ years developing solutions within large-scale ERP environments

Experience with JDE Payroll/HCM

Strong ERP programming and development toolset experience

IBM DB2 + SQL

Application, report, and batch development

ERP troubleshooting and production support

Ability to translate business/functional requirements into technical solutions

Experience working directly with Business Analysts and business users

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
