Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the JBlocks team, collaborating with developers to implement new capabilities that support evolving data labeling requirements.

This is a full-time position at a Government or contractor facility in the Fort Meade, MD area. We are looking for a proactive individual with innovative ideas to help the team address data marking challenges while maintaining compliance with relevant policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or related field plus 5 years of software engineering experience. An additional 4 years of software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree (9 years total). Candidates with 3 years of software engineering experience and a degree (or 7 years without a degree) will also be considered.
• 2 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains
• Proficiency in Java development is essential.
• Strong software development background and can contribute to both development and enhanced testing initiatives, actively participating throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Implement new Java capabilities that support evolving data labeling requirements
• Evaluate user issues, and create and document tests to reproduce them in development environments
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results
• Containerize existing software capabilities using Docker
• Perform software lifecycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance, availability, and compliance with business requirements
• Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the application
• Write technical documentation, including wiki sites, blogs, and XML/HTML

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the JBlocks team, collaborating with developers to implement new capabilities that support evolving data labeling requirements.

We are looking for a proactive individual with innovative ideas to help the team address data marking challenges while maintaining compliance with relevant policies. The team is committed to simplifying integration of its services within user environments by remaining flexible and highly adaptable. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week, normal day shift) at a Government or contractor facility in the Fort Meade, MD area.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement new Java capabilities that support evolving data labeling requirements
• Evaluate user issues, and create and document tests to reproduce them in development environments
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results
• Containerize existing software capabilities using Docker
• Perform software lifecycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance, availability, and compliance with business requirements
• Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the application
• Write technical documentation, including wiki sites, blogs, and XML/HTML

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with PKI and REST services
• Familiarity with debugging code using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) as a containerized service
• Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI standards
• Experience performing development in the eVo environment, including familiarity with and use of tools in the environment (GreyBox, etc.)
• Use of GitLab, CI/CD, and build pipelines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts
• Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines

Security Clearance

• Active Top Secret clearance with a Polygraph
