Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a software engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field and 3+ years of software experience. The role involves gathering requirements, developing features, and expanding unit tests while aligning to team processes.

Responsibilities include testing, code reviews, documentation, and collaboration with developers, contractors, and government stakeholders. Strong AWS, Docker, GitLab, Jest, Cypress, and Jira skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field with 3 years of software engineering experience; 7 years total with substitution.
• Experience using AWS dashboards and services.
• Hands-on Docker usage and converting apps to Docker images.
• Proficient with Git, GitLab CI and pipelines; Jira familiarity.
• Experience with Jest and Cypress; unit and function testing.
• Ability to perform code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Strong communication and ability to work directly with customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirements
• Assist in developing requirements for new features and fix defects
• Adhere to the development processes the team has established
• Create and expand unit tests
• Test new software releases and merge requests
• Track, triage, and respond to user issues and questions
• Contribute content for high-level documentation and guides
• Work collaboratively with a team of developers, contractors, and the Government

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or a related computer engineering or computer science discipline plus 3 years of software engineering experience. An additional 4 years of software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree (7 years total).
• Experience in AWS (ability to navigate AWS dashboards and services)
• Hands-on experience using Docker (command line) and converting applications to Docker images
• Experience using Git (command line), GitLab CI, and GitLab pipelines
• Familiarity with Jest and Cypress
• Working knowledge of Jira and GitLab
• Experience developing functional and unit tests
• Experience performing code reviews
• Ability to work directly with customers
• Ability to adhere to coding standards and follow team policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working collaboratively with a team of developers, contractors, and the Government

Security Clearance

• Active Top Secret clearance with a Polygraph
