The Archivist will support education and outreach, provide reference services, and supervise student assistants while collaborating with the Jazz Studies program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library program with jazz history knowledge.
• Two years professional archival experience.
• Experience with archival processing, preservation, and cataloging across formats.

Responsibilities

• Process materials per archival best practices and develop EAD finding aids.
• Design digitization of sound, video, photos with metadata for JSTOR/WRLC.
• Provide reference and research support to users worldwide.
