Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience, including database management or project management in a research or academic library.
  • Experience with artist archives and ArchiveSpace.
  • Knowledge of African-American art history.

Responsibilities

  • Archivist processing for five named collections, develop finding aids, and catalog in ArchivesSpace; manage outsourced digitization.
  • Handle reference requests related to the listed collections; assist with class presentations and tours.
  • Assist with appraisal and accessioning of new archival collections and transfer preparations.
  • Support grant-related activities and budgets; assist with workflows for archival processing.
