Join to apply for the Java Technical Lead role at Callibrity.

Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is remote but requires working on U.S. Eastern or Central Time hours. Preference is given to candidates in Midwestern and Eastern/Southeastern U.S. cities. Non-US candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as trusted advisors and thought leaders in the tech industry.
2. Understand big-picture business problems and lead strategically.
3. Mentor and upskill peers and client teams.
4. Resolve a variety of problems with appropriate solutions.
5. Communicate complex ideas clearly, verbally and in writing.
6. Proactively identify and address challenges.
7. Demonstrate mastery in software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, TDD, CI/CD, Test Automation) and teach others.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies like AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT.
9. Collaborate closely across roles and teams.
10. Build client trust and reliability.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience.
2. Experience with Git/GitHub, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven, SQL, JavaScript frameworks, Angular, React, and Agile methodologies.
3. Preferred experience with Kafka, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes.
4. Extensive IT or consulting experience.
5. Ability to solve coding challenges effectively.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for learning.
7. Alignment with Callibrity’s core values.
8. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
