Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies LLC seeks an experienced Java/J2EE architect/developer to lead design and development of enterprise applications. The role requires deep knowledge of Java/J2EE, AWS services, and web services, with migration experience from WebLogic/WebSphere to WildFly/JBOSS.

You will work on refactoring for cloud readiness, optimize SQL with DB2/Oracle, and collaborate across teams while communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in design and development of Java/J2EE applications.
• Working knowledge of J2EE/Java EE technologies.
• Over 8 years of application development experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• AWS services knowledge and cloud readiness.
• Experience with SOAP/REST APIs and HTTP concepts.
• SQL with DB2 and Oracle preferred; stored procedures and triggers.
• WebLogic and WebSphere platforms; Linux OS desirable.
• Migration experience to WildFly/JBOSS; WebLogic/WebSphere modernization.
• Excellent written and oral communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java/J2EE applications across platforms.
• Assess and refactor WebLogic/WebSphere for AWS readiness.
• Migrate WebLogic/WebSphere to WildFly/JBOSS as needed.
• Develop and consume web services using SOAP/REST APIs.
• Collaborate with teams to meet project goals and timelines.

• 10+ years' experience in design and development ofJava/J2EEapplications

• Over 8 years of application development experience
• Must have object-oriented programming expertise and have sound understanding of design patterns
• KnowledgeAWS servicesis required preferable hands-on.
• Familiarity with building and consuming web services
• Familiar with SOAP and REST API protocols, as well as HTTP transport concepts
• Practical knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL queries (DB2 and Oraclepreferred)
• Experience with database Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions
• Experience withWebLogicandWebSphereplatforms
• Experience with Linux OS desirable
• Experience with assessment and refactoring of WebLogic/WebSphereapplications for cloud readiness on AWS
