Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies, LLC in Columbus, Ohio seeks a senior software engineer to design and implement scalable Java-based microservices in an AWS-enabled environment. You will work across SDLC in a dynamic Agile team, leveraging Spring, AWS EKS/ECS, Terraform, and observability with Datadog while mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, Terraform). AWS Developer or Solution Architect certification preferred.
• No‑SQL database experience is good to have – DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins
• Strong communication skills and experience delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology
• Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving ability
• Self‑starter, quick learner, detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment
• Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Hands‑on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK (Kafka)
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Test and fix bugs or other coding issues
• Add value to team delivery and work with the team to complete tasks to high quality while actively learning new skills
