Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services in Bethesda, MD seeks a Java Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to design, develop, test, and deploy software for critical systems in a DevOps environment.

You will work with Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD using GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience; or BS with 2+ years; or MS with <2 years.
• Experience delivering software in Agile DevOps environments.
• Familiar with Java, Spring and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Develop Java/JavaScript/Python software across the SDLC.
• Assist with validation, testing using Junit and Katalon.
• Prototype and deploy solutions on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters on user stories.
• Support DevOps tooling like GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence.
• Document build artifacts and environments using GitFlow.
• Follow SOPs and implement best practices for customer needs.
