Job summary

Power3 in Maryland is seeking a Java Developer Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade applications. This role requires TS/SCI with MD polygraph, 3 years of software engineering experience, and a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.

You will work with AWS, Docker, GitLab CI, Jest and Cypress, collaborate with customers, perform code reviews, and develop unit tests while adhering to coding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS dashboards and services.
• Hands-on Docker experience and converting apps to Docker images.
• Experience using Git, GitLab CI and pipelines.
• Familiar with Jest and Cypress for testing.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and GitLab.
• Experience developing functional and unit tests.
• Experience performing code reviews.
• Ability to work directly with customers.
• Ability to adhere to coding standards and team policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software applications.
• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and provide solutions.
