Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services seeks a Cloud Engineer with TS/SCI and polygraph for a Prime contract in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, driving automation, IaC, and secure operations across development, testing, and production environments.

The role emphasizes OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible automation, Kubernetes management, Git-driven CI/CD, and Python scripting, with a focus on security, reliability, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/DevOps or Software Engineering
• AWS expertise with cloud certification
• IaC experience with OpenTofu and/or Terraform
• Kubernetes deployment and management experience
• Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Git in CI/CD environments
• Python scripting for automation
• Networking knowledge and CI/CD understanding
• Bachelor's degree or 10 years total experience accepted in lieu

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Develop automation scripts and playbooks with Ansible.
• Scale containerized apps with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Manage source control with Git in CI/CD pipelines.
• Write Python scripts to automate tasks and integrate systems.
• Ensure security, performance, and cost efficiency of cloud services.
• Adhere to STE/STN standards and security best practices.
