Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a senior Java developer with an active Top-Secret clearance to support two programs in an Agile environment. The role requires working in the office, leading 2-week sprints, and addressing production issues while refactoring legacy components.

Applicants should have 8+ years in software development (or 6+ with a Master’s, or equivalent experience), strong RESTful API and microservices experience, 5+ years of Java development, and solid OO design with SOLID

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master’s; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• 5+ years professional Java development experience.
• Firm understanding of version control using Git and workflows on platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Demonstrated success with Agile processes.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
