Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a software engineer to lead analysis, design, and implementation of new features in a Columbus, OH environment. You will collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable software architectures.

Responsibilities include building automated pipelines, robust test automation, and delivering high-value software in an agile setting, with emphasis on container-based development and AWS services.

Qualifications

• Experience with React, Grails, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with container-based development and cloud-native practices.
• Experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, DynamoDB, ECS, and EKS.
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational database development and modeling.
• Familiarity with Figma design systems for UI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of new business features or enhancements to existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software architectures.
• Develop and maintain automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software.
• Implement robust test automation processes, including unit tests, pipeline automation, and code scanning.
• Contribute to an agile team by iteratively delivering high-value software solutions.
