The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with modern Java frameworks, RESTful services, and microservices. Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid setting in Columbia, MD or San Antonio, TX, with strong testing and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava) is required.
• Experience in RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and familiarity with agile software lifecycle.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well independently or in a team.
• Experience with Linux and configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based software capabilities for complex systems.
