Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a software engineer specializing in Spring Boot microservices and Java to support platform stability, reliability, automation, and production operations.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve resilient systems, troubleshoot production issues, strengthen observability, and apply SRE best practices. This hybrid role requires three days onsite in Bentonville, AR.

About the Role

We are seeking this role to support platform stability, reliability, automation, and production operations. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to improve resilient systems, troubleshoot production issues, strengthen observability, and apply site reliability engineering best practices.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and develop robust software applications using Spring boot Microservices to meet business.

What you must have to be considered

• Possess a strong proficiency in Spring boot Microservices and Java for full stack development.
• Demonstrate expertise in Commerce Full Stack Engineering with a focus on Java technologies.
• Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in software development with a maximum of 10 years.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Show capability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and day shift environment.
• Display strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $55,00 - $75,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
