Job summary

Capgemini Hanover, NJ hybrid is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices. You will build REST APIs with Spring Boot, participate in requirement analysis, and deliver scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Expect collaboration with DevOps, QA, and product teams, and focus on performance, security, and reliability. The role requires strong Java skills (8/11/17+), Spring stack, and experience with databases and messaging.

Qualifications

• Java development experience with Java 8/11/17+ and strong OOP skills.
• Hands-on with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• REST API design and security using OAuth2/JWT.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Message queuing and distributed systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS).
• Microservices architecture and API gateways; cloud and containers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and microservices.
• Develop REST APIs using Spring Boot and related tech.
• Analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Perform testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams in Agile.
