Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and optimize Java Spring-based microservices in a cloud environment. You will design, implement, and maintain RESTful services, work with messaging systems, and ensure quality through CI/CD and testing practices.

The role emphasizes resilience, cloud-native architecture, and collaboration across global teams, with a base salary range reflecting the posted location and eligibility for incentives.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Java Spring-based frameworks, preferably Spring Boot.
• Experience with public cloud technologies, Azure preferred.
• Hands-on with messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus).
• Building apps with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize microservices and REST API integrations.
• Design and implement cloud-based, scalable solutions.
• Ensure quality with CI/CD processes and testing (JUnit/Cucumber/Selenium).
• Contribute to Chaos Testing and SRE practices for resilient applications.
