Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to drive backend and frontend development across the stack in a Dallas-area team. You will design, build, and optimize scalable Java services with Spring Boot and modern UI with React, while leveraging Kafka, REST/GraphQL, and AI APIs.

You will collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions, using cloud platforms and CI/CD practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java, API, and distributed apps with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; familiarity with AI APIs and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, CI/CD, and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
• Write code for complex core components and frameworks.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions, including microservices and serverless architectures.
• Build responsive frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement API design (REST/GraphQL) and event-driven patterns (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance; ensure security and reliability.
