Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III within the Risk Technology - Wholesale Credit Risk Tech team to help build and deliver secure, scalable technology products. You will contribute across the SDLC in an agile environment, focusing on robust production code and automation to improve reliability.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of SDLC experience.
Hands-on design, development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React.
Experience with CI/CD and cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of the financial services IT landscape.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches.
Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
Leads evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams on architecture and applicability.
Leads communities of practice to drive awareness of new technologies.
