Job summary

BeaconFire is seeking a Java Software Developer to build scalable applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and modern frontend tech. You will own the full development lifecycle in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include writing clean code, testing for reliability, conducting code reviews, and delivering production-ready APIs with strong documentation and security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and JavaScript in a software development role.
• Understanding of the SDLC and object‑oriented programming.
• Knowledge of relational DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL basics.
• Preferred: Spring, Maven, React.js, HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Angular 2+, React.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and ensure testability.
• Conduct testing to ensure reliability and perform code reviews.
• Participate in Agile Scrum and own the full development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical docs for apps, APIs, and deployment procedures.
• Ship to production: APIs, monitoring, CI/CD, cost/performance optimization, security best practices.
