BeaconFire seeks a Java / Software Engineer to develop scalable applications, write secure, maintainable code, and power client platforms. You will own the full development lifecycle in a fast‑paced Agile environment and contribute to API design, CI/CD, and security practices.

Role requires Java and JavaScript experience, strong SDLC knowledge, and relational DB basics. Master’s CS is preferred. Visa sponsorship offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and JavaScript in production code.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Solid object‑oriented programming knowledge and data structures.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using Java 8/17, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Angular 2+, React.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with maintainability in mind.
• Perform testing to ensure reliability and quality.
• Conduct code reviews to uphold code quality and standards.
• Join an Agile Scrum team and own the full development lifecycle.
• Create technical documentation for apps, APIs, and deployments.
• Ship to production with APIs, observability, CI/CD, and security best practices.
