Infosys Public Services is seeking a Full stack Java Developer to join our team in the United States. You will contribute to Java application development, web applications, and batch processes, with Oracle DB and Hibernate in Spring, plus test automation and CI/CD with Jenkins.

Required are strong Java/J2EE expertise, RESTful API development, and web front-end skills. Knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, Kafka, and Git is essential, along with agile collaboration and migration planning.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Must be expert in java, especially J2EE, and Spring Framework.

• Must be experienced with Kubernates, micro-services, event-driven application with Kafka.
• Knowledge of best practices in Version Controls (especially GIT).
• Understanding of new technologies in order to assist with migration.
• Advanced AI Tooling experience, specifically Github Copilot
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially for collaborating on mainframe integration with Java developers and migration planning.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

The estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:

In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ: $73,000 to $102,200

In Washington, DC: $66,100 to $100,200
