Infosys Public Services, Inc is seeking a Full stack Java Developer to join our team. The role requires at least 5 years of Java development and 3 years of full-stack experience, with Oracle DB/Hibernate in a Spring framework.

You will contribute to API development, web and batch applications, and automate tests within an Agile environment. Proficiency in Playwright, Jenkins CI/CD, and Version One is expected, as is familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, Kafka, and modern front-end

Required Skills

• Must be expert in java, especially J2EE, and Spring Framework.
• Must be expert in RESTFul API development
• Must be expert in web page development, including Struts, JSP, HTML, JQUERY, CSS, JSON etc.
• Must be experienced with Kubernates, micro-services, event-driven application with Kafka.
• Knowledge of best practices in Version Controls (especially GIT).
• Understanding of new technologies in order to assist with migration.
• Advanced AI Tooling experience, specifically Github Copilot
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially for collaborating on mainframe integration with Java developers and migration planning.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

The estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:

In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ: $73,000 to $102,200

In Washington, DC: $66,100 to $100,200
