Job summary

Infosys is hiring for a Technology Consultant 1 to support the Financial Services unit in the USA. You will work on Java full stack development, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular, with REST services and UI tasks.

The role requires collaboration in an agile environment and potential relocation or travel. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong problem solving, and a proactive approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java Full Stack development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with REST Web services and UI development.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; equivalent work experience considered.
• Relocation and travel to work locations may be required; U.S. work authorization encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in capturing user needs through interviews and workshops; document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to define software specifications and create process docs.
• Develop and refine code for new applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new features and smooth transitions within the system.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
