Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in New Jersey is seeking a Tech Lead / Squad Lead to design, integrate, and orchestrate APIs in an insurance domain across rating, underwriting, and policy lifecycle.

You will spearhead end-to-end delivery from design to deployment, own integration architectures, and guide a cross-functional team to deliver scalable, resilient software with Agile leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• API design, integration, and orchestration.
• Experience with rules engines such as Drools and rules extraction/translation.
• Reverse engineering legacy systems (mainframe/Smalltalk).
• Insurance domain knowledge (rating, underwriting, policy lifecycle).
• Cloud-native development (Azure, AKS, CI/CD).
• Frontend awareness (Angular).
• Lead squad for end-to-end delivery (design → deploy).
• Own integration architecture (rating engines, APIs, queues).
• Drive rules extraction → transformation → implementation.
