Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Colonia, NJ seeks a Technical Lead to translate credit risk requirements into scalable architectures. You will own solution design, guide FICO decisioning, and drive integration across cloud and on-prem systems.

You will mentor developers, manage CI/CD for rule artifacts, enforce security and compliance, and collaborate with FICO professional services to deliver reliable, low-latency decisioning platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3-5+ years hands-on with FICO decisioning or fraud tools.
• Strong Java and Python development, REST APIs, Kafka, and microservices experience.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR compliance and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable decision architectures linking FICO engines with enterprise systems.
• Lead FICO decision engineering including scorecards, rules, and model deployments.
• Design REST/gRPC APIs, Kafka data pipelines for cloud data hydration.
• Lead sprint planning, code/rule reviews, mentoring, and serve as technical contact.
• Implement CI/CD, automate tests, and enforce version control and audits.

Core Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solution Design: Translate business credit/risk requirements into technical specs; design low-latency, scalable decision architectures between FICO engines and enterprise systems.
• FICO Decision Engineering: Lead development and governance of decision flows, scorecards, and business rules (Decision Modeler / Blaze Advisor); oversee ML/PMML model deployments.
• Integration & Data Pipelines: Design REST/gRPC APIs, message queues (Kafka), and data hydration pipelines to feed data to and from the cloud platform.
• Team Leadership & Delivery: Lead sprint planning, conduct code/rule reviews, mentor developers, and serve as the main technical contact for FICO professional services.
• DevSecOps & Release: Implement CI/CD pipelines for rule artifacts, automate regression/stress testing, and enforce version control and audit trails.
• Security & Reliability: Ensure compliance (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR), manage role-based access (RBAC), and set up monitoring (turnaround times, rule performance, system uptime).
