Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on business solution analysis and technology delivery experience.
Deep expertise leading multiple product-centric engineering teams.
Experience delivering high-quality technology products in a high-growth environment.
Experience driving software delivery transformation via SAFe Agile, CD/CI.
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, BDD, TDD, DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework.
Experience with Oracle and MongoDB databases.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Kafka/Solace and CQRS.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.

Job description

Establish and lead a Business Solution Analyst unit focused on building business systems for Trade Finance/Supply Chain Finance
Partner with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams across Citi TTS to define vision, goals, and strategy and deliver on the vision
Drive technical direction and strategic IT project leadership decisions
Lead strategic discussions with business and technical stakeholders to balance effort, delivery timelines, features, and technical constraints
Design, research, develop, analyze, and recommend new solutions to keep business systems competitive and responsive to market needs
Foster innovation and solution excellence through industry-standard practices, emerging technologies, open standards, collaboration, and efficiency
Improve cross-product architecture through modern development methods, including CI/CD and DevOps
Manage the regulatory agenda in alignment with broader business objectives and coordinate delivery and prioritization with IT and business stakeholders
Oversee end-to-end delivery, including project reporting, planning, issue/risk tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, and relationship management
Provide expertise on projects and demonstrate advanced IT project leadership
Coach, mentor, and motivate analyst teams to excel and grow their careers
Establish and communicate business solution/design patterns, business system integration standards, and scalable solutions
Establish metrics and track design quality, business value delivery, and user adoption
Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external parties
Assess and manage risk, ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and escalat[e]/report control issues transparently
Apply understanding of Trade Finance/Supply Chain business functions

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on business solution analysis and technology delivery experience
Deep expertise as a hands-on technology solutions leader working on complex systems in a large organization
Experience structuring, establishing, and leading multiple product-centric engineering teams
Experience delivering high-quality technology products/services in a high-growth environment with rapidly shifting priorities
Experience driving software delivery transformation through SAFe Agile practice and process, focused on Continuous Delivery culture and process
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, BDD, TDD, associated Developer Toolchains, DevOps models, and best practices
Significant delivery skills as a high-profile contributor or project lead
Application development and delivery experience with modern technology stacks
Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with event-driven technologies (Solace or Kafka) and CQRS
Experience with API documentation, API ecosystem, API-driven payment/services, security solutions/patterns, PII data handling, and API gateways
Experience performance tuning large technical solutions with significant volumes
Experience solutioning digital features with persona-based, simple, and intuitive workflows
Experience building enterprise transaction-based systems focused on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability, and performance
First-class leadership and influencing skills, including managing multiple stakeholder goals
Demonstrated interpersonal and talent management skills, including identifying and developing product management talent
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
