Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Phoenix designs and develops MCP servers, tools, APIs, and data integration services to enable secure and efficient consumption of curated data by AI agents and applications.

We build scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot and Python, focusing on RESTful APIs, microservices and secure data access, while collaborating with architects and data engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot and Python for backend services.
• Experience designing solution architectures, RESTful APIs, microservices, and reusable integration components.
• Strong SQL skills and data platform integration (Starburst/Trino preferred).
• Experience building secure, high-performance data access services for downstream apps and AI agents.
• Solid authentication/authorization and API security knowledge; performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design MCP servers, tools, APIs, and data integration services for secure AI data consumption.
• Develop scalable backend services and reusable components.

Role Description:

Designs the architecture and develops reusable MCP servers, tools, APIs, and data integration services to enable secure and efficient consumption of curated data by AI agents and applications.

Core Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python for building scalable backend services and applications.
• Experience designing solution architectures, RESTful APIs, microservices, and reusable integration components, with the ability to apply these skills to MCP server and tool development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience integrating applications with relational databases and data platforms, preferably Starburst/Trino.
• Experience building secure, high-performance data access services to query and expose curated data to downstream applications and AI agents.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and containerization.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, data engineers, and application teams to translate business requirements into scalable, reusable technical solutions. Preferred / Added Advantage
• Understanding of LLMs, agentic AI architectures, tool calling, and MCP, with the ability to support data agent development.
